Pretty good! Recently got a job as a full time Motion Graphic Artist for a local college where I play art director for student workers wanting to get into the field. I've also fallen in love with seals and am in the pursuit of spreading information to help them and the rescues. Other than that? Not sure where life will take me, but things are finally on an up-turn. Yourself?

I remember one time logging into NewGrounds to find a message from six months prior. And, well, I HAD to write them back. And they were entirely confused because by that point they didn't even remember sending me a message in the first place. Much fun was had by all.

Hi. I love your artwork. It looks very colorful and creative. Especially Hotdiggedydemon's Maxwell Edison artwork. I LOVE MAXWELL EDISON! He is sooooooooooo ADORABLE even though he's a serial killer with a silver hammer. But, he's still awesome! I love The Beatles song Maxwell's Silver Hammer. It's catchy as well as very dark. It's soooooooo AWESOME! I'm listening to it right now actually. You are very awesome at drawing! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Thanks! I didn't have anything to do with Maxwell, it's all HDD. Just a fan art for a toon I like.

I know that HotDiggedydemon made the Maxwell Edison video. I just love the way you drew him.

I figured it was a mass promotional spam invite. If someone PMs me, especially if they tell me what it is and why, I'm more likely to look at whatever it is. Going to your page I wasn't sure why I was invited or how it was relevant to my interests.

It's not spam! I just couldn't think of a wording for why I invited you! I invited you because I'm making a video game, and I thought you'd like to be a 3D modeler for it.

Well thanks! I'm glad you like my work! I like helping with group projects, however I've got a bit too much on my plate to handle as it is with my own personal projects and commissions. If I joined I wouldn't have time to contribute or help in any way.
I think one of the keys for successfully hosting a project like this is not only finding talented people, but ones with a clear understanding in what you're trying to do fueled by their own interest in the project. When I've done talent scouting I usually write to people individually; copying and pasting a letter just looks like spam. I may copy and paste a paragraph that explains the core of what the project is, but I'll also write a very personalized paragraph of what I'm asking them personally, why I'm asking them, and usually mention specific examples in their work. Yes it is time consuming, but it also shows that person you put value in them and the time spent is worth it. A faster way for people to find out about your project is by posting in a forum, and follow KISS and keep the summery brief but clear. You don't want to give people a tl;dr filled with levels and back stories- just a brief synopsis with maybe a couple pieces of pre-production art, what kind of talent you are looking for, and what compensation. (In this case it sounds like credit.)
It's also important to give your crew confidence their hard work will pay off in some finished form- in this case a game. I usually do this by keeping information clear, documented, organized, and set on a production schedule so that all elements are done on time and the programmers aren't waiting for sprites while the artists are bottle-necking on backgrounds. Expecting everything to just come together without a clear leader (production manager) rarely works, unless the projects are very small. But if you don't have experience in that area, don't let it get you down! Just put on that virtual hat and start gaining xp! Or find someone with experience in that area and interest vested in your game and learn from that more experienced pilot before flying solo. A lot of programmers and animators get their start by group projects such as these; the only way to get experience is to put yourself out there and try. Once you find your limit, then just keep pushing!
