Heh, yeah, he's like an equine version of a minotaur, or a reverse centaur. Now for the elf-like creature, I'm pretty sure we have something like her, but I don't know what it's called.

Tikbalangs are trickster-like demons that live in the mountains or heavily-forested areas. Mischievous and playful, they get travelers lost by mixing up pathways or dirtroads, which is why some people claim to have walked around for hours to get to a place that is only fifteen minutes away. I doubt they kill for fun or eat people at all, and I believe they are more like forest guardians
If it rains on a sunny day here, that means that a pair of tikbalangs are getting married, very much like the centaur
