It's really good freeware, and many thanks for your introducing.

Very wideness drawing area, simply windows, and especially I like brushes.
that's really good taste to draw.

I bought new PC,
and some part of Photoshop CS2 couldn't suit for new OS windows7.
It seemed that CS2 cannot upgrade to CS5(before, 3 ranks could upgrade, but recently only one rank, many user regard it as dissatisfied.), and that's expensive to buy complete version of CS5.

I'm hesitating whether buy or not.

anyway, My paint is pretty good performance.

yes, I agree, CS5 is very expensive so I looked for free alternatives such as GIMP.

I normally paint in Mypaint and do various image editing in GIMP but you can also paint in GIMP too, though its brush dynamics are not as great as mypaint or Photoshop but it can do it.

There is also a GIMP painter which is tweaked version of original gimp but with better brush dynamics which is very good especially if you use with bitmap brushes.

If you get gimp, I recommend getting GPS which contains very good brushes and other settings for GIMP.

I think conversation is more easily, however the hurdle of readings and writings are very high.　Especially at Kanji.
