Anytime you have great stuff. Color pencil is one of the most difficult materials to work with in traditional art in my opinion so is always good to see someone who is good at it.

They are made with crayon, actually. I've thought about digitally "painting" some of them for better texture. I've never really been able to get into actual painting. It's just really messy and expensive. If I did, I think I'd paint something very different though.

It is just my opinion but think of the use of digital art especially of the kind you are creating. If I did something like what you are doing digital I would expect to be use more utilitarily like for a background or something else and is not bad but if you are more serious about your pieces it would be good to have them in a phisical format. If you do them in good paper I don't think that crayon is not a bad medium but oil pastel would be better. They are cheap and professional and would work almost the same. But it all comes down to your intent and if you are happy how they are is ok and if you want to make then digital is ok too. Just look for a program that gives you a look that you are happy with. Painting is is so difficult. I know. I am painting right now and is the worst I don't want to do it sometimes but when you finish a painting is a great paid off. Sorry I wrote so much but just do what make you happy.
