I know what you mean, my shading isn't that great, and it's not as smooth as it could be, but what I usually do is use my finger (old school) or I have a paper blending stick that I've been using recently.

You can pick one up at any art supply store (it's rolled paper with a pointy end on both ends that is about the size of a marker), you can also get smaller or larger sizes but that's the size I use.

I can't believe you are only 15! I use to draw Inuyasha back when I was 13 or 14 and I use to shade the way you do, so it's all about moving up and beyond.

I would recomment looking at someone's tutorial who is a really good real life artist, I'm far from them.

yeah, they fall apart when you try to make one and they aren't as tightly bound. They aren't expensive at all though. :D (Big Grin)
