I'll be rolling a human Guardian first with an AOE fire explosion build. >! lol I'll only have commissions down for a week or so. Just want to really be able to enjoy launch, you know?

There'll be probably even more requests after GW2 release
My favourite is Thief and Warrior as 2nd Choice. Guardian is not in my top 5
OMG only 18hrs til pre-release (at least here in Germany^^).

Thief and warrior were both great! The warrior with a longbow is insanely fun. lol I didn't get too much time on the thief, but I really enjoyed what I did play. Honestly there weren't any professions that I truly disliked, there were ones I loved, ones I liked, and ones I think I'll like when I have more time to figure them out.

I wasn't even able to try every profession. I never tested Guardian, Necro and Engineer, but as there are only 5 character slots I'm fine with the other professions
Especially Mesmer was a positive surprise to me....

Not sure if friendships work between American & German servers but I'll try

Yeah you can friend across any server and guest between them as well once the guesting is enabled.
As long as you got to try out some of them you should still have a good idea where to start.
