# About me
Hello everyone !~ I never know what to put for these darn things. I'm quite all over the place with things i enjoy doing. I watch anime, read manga, play video games, bass and sew. I draw occasionally but i dont always keep up with it. I'm a pretty shy person irl especially around girls, so i tend to hang around with more guys than chicks. A friend of mine introduced me to anime when i was around 16/17 ish and that was Cowboy bebop. I started channeling alot of Spike spiegel into how i talked and acted (as weeby as this all sounds) because i never knew how to stand up for myself. My home life was all sorts of stupid and i was always such a scaredy cat. I really admired Spike's character because how he handled himself and some situations. I was changing alot during this time in general but this show, as a whole, completely pushed me. I really needed someone to look up to even if it was a cartoon character. It helped change me into who i am now. My husband is also the driving force behind alot of what i do. He's helped me through alot of things and has been there to support me no matter what. I am entirely grateful to have him in my life. The sewing hobby took me quite a while to get into. My mom pushed me to take that and foods class during high school. i hated it then but looking back it now, it was a good idea. I'm completely self taught with alot of it and i'll still be learning from here on out. I made a cloak when i got out of high school and then after that didnt make anything til probably 2007. I made my husband a V for Vendetta jacket (very simple) in like 3 days and it wasnt that great. He was pleased as punch with it but ever since then i never want to make something with that short of notice. I feel like my quality suffers. In 2010 i started working on my Silent hill 2 nurse outfit and had no idea it would be so well received. I just never anticipated anything when i made it. I just made it for fun and because i wanted to see if i could do it. I can't believe i've finished my dream costume now, Lulu from final fantasy X, and it's down to just wearing it at a convention.
I've had alot going on in my family life and i want to thank everyone on here, facebook, and any of my friends that see me daily for being there for me. Hopefully things get better and not worse. I know i probably sound like a complete crab but really, it's just me letting off some steam. Sorry if it isn't appropriate, i just need an outlet and this place helps. So thank you again to those of you who read/comment on anything. I really do appreciate it.

Yeah I haven't done my horrorpops cosplay yet. I found out that the owner of power house comics used to photograph pinup models, but he can only do it on Mondays. Could you still ask her, I might need someone in the near future. Thank you so much. Oh yeah and how much does she charge, don't want to jump into anything I can't afford.

Ok yea sure i was talking to her about and honestly she charges pretty low, usually like 60 bucks or something if it's really simple (might be more or less depending on the length of the shoot). I can ask her for more of a specific price xD

Thanks, I'm going to have the comic book guy do my Horrorpops photos this time, but once I get my LoL cosplay finished I would defiantly like someone that has more experience with cosplay photography.

Just make sure you pitch the trench coat outfit and not the skin tight leather one. I hope he agrees that would be awesome!

So I started playing Bioshock last night, and this morning I instantly thought of you. If you still have your Silent Hill nurse cosplay, all you need is a bunny mask, then you will have a Bioshock nurse cosplay.

Dejavu is having a zombie prom? That sounds like a lot of fun. I've been there once on Halloween for the rocky show.
I don't have any face makeup are you required to look like a zombie?

All comic book stores have free comic book day on the first Saturday of May. I will be attending the one at Power House Comics, he says he's going to have practically everything on sale and he will have some cosplayers show up as well. Oh! and cookies!

No problem I really enjoy what you did with the design for the lulu outfit since i'll be working on my dress some more as well too. I'm saving that part till later lmao. Just out of curiosity how do you plan on attaching that piece to the dress?

I've attached it now, first I tried two-sided glue-backcloth ('don't know the correct term in English QwQ) and it worked kinda fine, though it needs so much cutting and ironing that I recommend using basic adhesive that suits for textiles, it's much faster but it doesn't give the support the backcloth gives. I ended up using them both, the backcloth for the outer parts that were cut out anyway, and the glue for the inner parts. Oh, and I also recommend making the patterns so that you don't have to paint them once you've fastened them, it would've saved me a lot of time if I had just painted the corners gray after I cut them out of the base cloth -w-' good luck with the costume, it's a lot of work but still so fun to do

Oh my gosh thanks so much Yea, i know it's alot of work, i just did the belt skirt and then said "DONE FOR NOW!". I pretty much have the fabrics for the sleeves/skirt stuff and i know what i need to do for the corset. It's just -doing- it lol. We have an anime convention tomorrow actually so i'll be there all weekend. I think after that i'll have more time to work with stuff. Ty so much
