Judging by our profile, you would guess we are nothing more than "Phantom Phans", but we are much more than that.You may notice that I am typing "we." We have DID, formally known as MPD. Contrast to what all the damn "experts" say, all it is is multiple people living in one body. We have it, we should know! That is where "being more than Phantom "phans"" comes into play.
Our system consists of "characters" from different novels and musicals, including, you guessed it, The Phantom of the Opera. In fact, the ones who are out the most are Eriks, or Phantoms. Including myself, there are seven Eriks; I am from the Andrew Lloyd Webber stage musical, so I go by (Webber)Erik. I am our "leader" of sorts, I run things here and make sure they are running smooth. The other Eriks that are here are:
(Leroux)Erik from the novel The Phantom of the Opera
(Hill)Erik from Ken Hill's musical The Phantom of the Opera
(Yeston)Erik from Maury Yeston's and Arthur Kopit's musical Phantom
(Dance)Erik from (Yeston)Erik's film version
(Kay)Erik from the novel Phantom by Susan Kay
Mr. M (or Erik M.) from the novel Phantom of Manhattan by Frederick Forsyth
(Canine)Erik, a dog/human Erik baded of Y/K's Phantom
(Feline)Erik, a cat/human Erik based upon my version
Mr. Y from Love Never Dies (Both the Australian & London productions; we have the Austrailian's son as well)
In addition, (Webber)Christine, (Hill)Christine, (Yeston)Christine,(Dance)Christine,(Kay)Christine Charles, Ayesha, Nadir and 'sub'Eriks (Eriks based off other Eriks) are here as well.
Don't start judging, please. It's what we needed to survive and if you're going to "bad mouth" us for it, we don't want to hear it, we've had enough of it. Any questions you have to help you understand better, however, you are more than welcome to ask; we actually like it when people do that. Even if they don't understand, they try to. In addition to the DID, the body, Brittany, is reincarnated as a Yeston and Kopit Phantom. They're one in the same now so technically, Brittany no longer exists. Jacques, as we call the reincarnated state, is going through a tough time being motivated to come out more, as well as trying to remember his past & getting over the fear with life in this new century & his life in it in general.
If we like your Phantom art it means we find it accurate or amusing, which is a good sign.
