No problem! I'm a big SessKag fan, and the animation was wonderful! The facial expressions were perfect - with a little more work on it, it will be even smoother, and an even greater masterpiece!

I believe there will not be another update unless he get's a lot of contacts from other people requesting another update. The reason we don't give out his contact information is because we don't want to be responsible for an enormous flood of people trying to get a hold of him at once.

However, he has stated where you can find and how to contact him in the forums, so if you wish to ask him yourself about the updates for Novelty, then perhaps you should check out the forums to get his contact information. None of us at Visual-Novelty have the authority to release contact info, and we don't want anyone to get in trouble for it either. Soooo.....yeah. I've been using Novelty for about 5+ years myself, so I was playing with the program before it's most current version.

Trust me, the most recent version is way better than the previous ones in my opinion. X3

Okay, first of all, make sure your video is no larger than 400x600 (or 800...I can't remember which. Play it safe at 600. XP)
Go to Designer.
Create New Video Object.
Go up to View -> Video -> Load Video and find your video.
Save it.

Go to Novelty, add your video object to the scene.
In your "Actions Window" click "Play Video".
In the "Properties Window" click and find your video.

Ta-da! Your video should be set. ^___^ If this doesn't work, let me know so I can double-check and see what's going on.X3

I don't know to reduce the size of my video. Will that effect whether it saves or not? Because it just pulls up a screen that plays it on loop in Designer. When I save the file and put in a scene, the Properties window asks me to select a .AVI file, not a Novelty file.

Yes! That's the correct. Sorry, I should've been more specific. >.<

You can easily reduce the size of the video in, oh, let's say.... Windows Movie Maker 2.6. When you save the video, you can choose custom dimensions and whatnot. XP

If it's bigger than what I told you, it'll create a "pop-out" video, meaning, the video will play in another window instead of in your game like it should. >.< (I found this out the hard way.... XD)

It will play it on loop in Designer because it's showing you what it looks like. When you actually pull it up on Novelty, it will play once unless you specifically tell it to loop. XP When you search for the .AVI file, that's the video you used when you created your video object in Designer. ^_^ What it's doing is that it's linking the video to the object. What you did in Designer was link the object to the video. In other words:

In Designer, when you found the video and linked it to the object, it was telling that object "Hey, I want you to play THIS video with THESE dimensions."
When you link it in Novelty, it's saying, "Alright, THIS is the video you're going to play!"

With the object having the name of the video, and the specified .AVI file, together, will allow you to play your video. Otherwise, it doesn't work. >.< (I hope I made some kind of sense there....I sorta felt like I was rambling. X'D)

Have tried making it small, like, REALLY small? 250X250, because I know I had this problem and it took me forever to solve it, too. >.< For me, it had turned out that that size of the video was too big.
