Actually if you haven't yet get any good idea about Bing you still have unlimited alternatives out there, you know, those legendary hunks like Cary Grant, Richard Burton or Gregory Peck. I think great movies like Roman Holiday and Breakfast At Tiffany's would be inspiring, you know, one good example such as the dramatic and funny interaction between Greg and Audrey is among the best stories in motion picture history, yet Connie was a far more capable performer comparing with Audrey, since Connie was a great all-round singer. In the other hand I think there's a UK legend that most people have been overlooked -- the Elvis of UK, Cliff Richard and his band members the Shadows who inspired me to learn to play the guitar. I recently watched some of his early musical movies and he shares lots of similarity with Connie, both achieved fame at roughly the same era, both are capable of ballad, sentimental, Rock'n Roll (as influential pioneers of this new pop genre) and even European language love songs and finally, both were active in modern musicals that shared the same element. You know all the greatest rock stars of the same era can always be a very good choice, I also recommend Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Neil Sedaka, Bobby Vee, Johnny Tillotson and many many more, imagine Connie performs or just simply interact with any of this cool guys on the stage or screen..., wow, that must be a very good looking picture!

Wow, many thanks for your kind concern, but too bad Valentine's Day is not for me, I never had any taste of romance in my life. But ever year I sure will have a solo trip to the city to see happy couples everywhere enjoying their greatest moment.

是吗。我在这里也是很久使用母语，在这里也是久久遇到来自东方的朋友，当然也结识了几位会中文的西方朋友。谢谢您的祝贺，我这种身份卑微的市井小民也是苦哈哈过年，大马连续多年经济低迷，很多人都过穷年，真是王小二过年，年年难过年年过，已经很久没得重温那种新春气氛了。您也是来自中国吗？

是的我来自中国。我理解您在外过年的心情。不过我想，过年意味着家人的团圆，和回首过去的一年，并望向未来的一年。

不管怎样2013都过去了，还是计划好未来的2014如何不留遗憾地度过吧。

您和您的家人团圆了吗？那里可以吃到饺子吗？

如果能感受到年味，哪怕一丝，也是欣慰的。

不过，既然异地经济低迷，何不回国发展呢

我不是在外过年，我就是土生土长，道道地地的大马华裔，大马是我的祖国，当然不会“回国”了。经济低迷就只有默默承受而已，尤其是华人是最辛苦的一群。现在只要大马一天不换政府大家新的一年就只有新的遗憾。现在中国也是有大量人力进来大马，很多专业领域包括文艺创作的工作都逐渐被人数庞大的中国人抢去了。我一直都和家人居住，在大马华人过年现在已经鲜少吃饺子了，都是捞生比较多。我的作品表现的都是过时思想和旧文化，是因为知道这里还会有不少洋人会欣赏他们的文化遗产才来这里，所以才会一直待在这里寻找欣赏者。倒是在自己国家人们都不欣赏，所以也没在本地网络和本地人交流了，都是当自己像个无国界的孤独人游走在都是陌生人的外国网络空间。无论如何还是要感谢您的支持啊。

敢问您来过中国吗，虽然中国很多地方仍不如意，但至少在我所处的城市，真的是大有进步，过去一年的一项国际比赛地点选在了这座城。以小见大的说，中国也在像这座城一样进步着，追赶着历史留下的遗憾。

谈到您的作品，我个人地认为，并不是“过时”或“旧”。经典永垂不朽。过去的并不一定是过时的。也许新时代的人们暂时淡忘了经典，更追求新潮的，带给他们新感受的事物。但我更欣赏经典的，同时也不排斥新兴的。

我喜欢既传承着过去的精华，又学习着新的事物。

真的很高兴能和您谈这些话。

其实您有什么要问就尽管问吧，没什么好避忌的。我暂时没能力出国旅游，亲属们就有去过。不过关于中国的事我这里长期都听闻很多，也可以通过卫星电视了解很多，再加上我长久以来结识了不少来自各大省份的中国网友，也听了不少。你们的大城市现在都很繁华先进，经济急速成长，大家都很富裕，马来西亚的市场上都是中国制造的货品，很多大马华人都对中国充满幻想，尤其是做生意的商家都发中国梦。但是很多偏远乡区还是缺乏良好的基建，依然有重大贫富差距，不过你们大国家是需要很长时间来成长的。大马遭遇经济风暴而经济崩溃那一年恰巧就是你们中国刚开始经济起飞的时候。一眨眼已经17年了。

关于文化传承，像你们这样有古老辉煌文明历史的大国家自然会有不少人去珍惜，但大马只是个小型又不算富强的第三国家，没有悠久的辉煌文明历史和国际知名度，再加上是多元种族社会，而各大种族祖先又是来自外国，本土文化也只是夹杂的外来文化，不像大国家那样能把自身文化发展成强势国际文化，所以本土人民自然不会去珍惜什么经典或全文化遗产了，大家都只追快餐式，容易消化、大众化、新潮的外国主流文化，无论是电影、音乐、动漫等都是崇尚外国，本地的反而乏人问津。本地的商家长期不支持本地文化界，没有致力投资发展开拓市场，都是觉得外国的钱好赚，所以我们本地文化工作者就比较辛苦了。
