I like cartoons, they are a very nice change of pace. Very fun to do as well. Nothing to worry about or be nitpicky about realism. Just all fun, that's what they are .
And I still make deadly war machines btw , just finished a major one. Looking really good.

Hanse can't use magic . Less you pump him up with energy... then he'll just vent all that as a scary firestorm as fire and wind make a nasty combo.

I find it's all about simplification, as in if you're drawing a load of characters, make them not as detailed as if you were drawing just one.
