And yes, I could.

There once was a sad doughnut. It was sad and alone.
No on wanted the doughnut, it was never eaten ever.
It didn't have sprinkles or frosting at all.

It was plain, not even topped with sugar. One day the Doughnut

wanted to be brave, so it fell outside the bakery window.

The doughnut rolled a short distance beginning it's journy, but alas

there was a reason it hadn't been stepped on yet. You see what

the doughnut perceived as good luck was no more then a sign of it's doom.

The reason noe one was walking around was because off the looming thunderheads. Soon the rain came pouring down. The doughnut became soggy and was swiftly washed away.
At least it could feed the rats it thought, but no, they didn't want the

doughnut either. Maybe it could feed the earth it thought. But still

in this city there was nothing but rock ground.... so the doughnut never fulfilled it's purpose

I promise I don't look here often I just so happened to yesterday and I saw that status okay

That is... Somehow really depressing and funny at the same time? XD The sadder thing is why does food have consciousness with the only destiny of being eaten alive. What happens if someone eats half of a doughnut and then drops it on the floor? Will it be there with its guts hanging out in pain for the rest of its days? How many other foods share this sorry fate? How does it feel to eat a food that's probably screaming in agony in your mouth, yet, enjoy it?

I have so many questions

Oh it's simply a metaphor. You see the thing is

the doughnut was pursuing the wrong thing all along.
If the doughnut had desired freedom instead of being

eaten like he had believed his whole life, he would

have been much happier. He wouldn't have tried to find

rats to eat him. He would simply have enjoyed the world

and found happiness.

Don't think too deeply about it. :3

I think I seeee. How we all do what is expected of us in life, and ultimately the expectations of what we're meant to do destroys us- or we go searching for something, maybe about ourselves, in a soul-crushing way rather than just... Living your life. Living your life with the desire to be you, instead of the desire to be what you're meant to be.
