I simply have to award Leela a piece of cake~not that her cohort isn't worthy. Her big, green eyes remind me of Stormcloud aka Stormy, our beautiful black cat who died very recently. Stormy was a dramatic diva, too! *purrgiggle*
I'm wondering if we should try to train Pumpkin Pye to a leash! He's a smart little fellow, so perhaps he could catch on.
BTW: I've had only one tuxedo cat in my many years of having "purrbabies", and I have a special part in my heart for Muffin Man and his ilk. Leela has many entries in the TUXEDO folder!

Age is a large factor when training a cat a on a lead. The younger the better. Just be aware of how the climate effects your cat's well being and readjust. Leela loves wondering in cooler weather, often at 9 p.m. !!!
I actually find it easier to bicycle her around than walk her, but cats are different and each come with their own.... challenges.

Hello, it's a nice idea, show him to your cat the outside world! Remember that the field of view of a cat is much less than that of the human being, but know how to appreciate what is around them!
