Well now you're just confusing me.  Are you telling me you haven't been saved?  And that being, because you actively engage in lying, and in fact enjoy it?    For such IS all they of whom, are of their father, the devil. Also such persons, enjoying spreading discord amongst brethren.

 All I initially said was that "Satan is the father of lies". (That's even in the Bible, somewhere).   So if you are telling me that you "loveth, and maketh a lie", then according to the Bible, such are they of whom are of their father, the devil.  'His children'.   If you are telling me you actively follow him in this way, then yes, (and to use your own words) that would make you "his son". (although, to be quite honest, I thought you were a 'she'. Cat, "lady".  )   Or......You wouldn't be lying....... to me now, would you? !!

My brain needs sleep.   But I look forward to your interesting reply.

Lol I responded the way I did because I thought you were picking a fight and I was edging you on. Yes I lie but I lie to keep my covenant with God. Check out this user's journal I'm like Rahab. And yes I'm a she. I do not follow Satan but I struggle with whether or not I should follow God. I'm not going to lie to you and tell you I follow God completely. I struggle. A lot of Christians struggle to follow God, consider pig headed Jacob. I relate to him in that I wrestle God but I hope that ultimately I will one day be accepted fully by God and I will put my past completely behind me. Lord have mercy on my soul...

You know, I had the feeling you might have been playing me, but 'why' I wasn't sure of.  I've learnt since my years on the internet, that things may not always be what they seem, and wires can get crossed because of this. I've learnt to give people the benefit of the doubt in such cases, because often times, such as here with yourself, there is desire to talk, but uncertainty (for Many reasons; but the top one being, having dealt with insincere people too often in life).  I'm very glad you leveled with me.

None of us are "perfect Christians", and we never will be. It simply is not possible. God/Jesus is the only perfection.  That said. It is almost guaranteed we will have our struggles with God, and with our beliefs from time to time. Some worse than others. (depending on how badly Satan wants you. Or I should say, specifically, your soul to destroy)
I think that's all part of God's plan though.  He Wants for us to question things, to seek him out (by reading His word); so that our ear may try those words. And we find the truth. - On our OWN. By our own free will - never force.  But nowhere does it say any of this is going to be easy. In fact, the Bible tells us to "be forever vigilant"... Especially with old boy Satan and his dominions throwing obstacles in our paths every chance they get - in the very hopes that you should struggle - but Especially - to struggle with whether or not to follow God.
Satan is given lots of power over the earth (albeit for a certain time only)  He has certain powers to make life easier for those who fall to his temptations and charms; and believe me, he DOES work though other people. They may not even be aware themselves...
I liken that...reward...if you will...that he gives to those who fall at his charms...To a pedophile....offering candy, a puppy, promises of enjoyment. Just to get that innocent person to a place where they can hurt them; or better, kill them.   Satan wants to hurt us all; in the guise of good. In the hope to see us die (lose any chance of an eternal life in heaven)  Satan once had that beautiful gift, he had it ALL, above everyone else; but lost it(by his own hand and choices...He wants you to make that same, irreversible mistake) He knows personally of God's love, and how precious His gifts are; and what awaits you and me in heaven, if we make the right choices.
Life truly is a test. And I'd say a constant one. But. As long as we live, - there is always hope.

Lord have mercy on ALL of our souls, hon.
But the thing is. God has already accepted you fully.  He knows of your struggles, pains, weaknesses, how you may have been mistreated; or how you may have mistreated others in life; the temptations you've met with, etc...  That is why Jesus died FOR our sins.  Then rose again from the dead.  So that we may be forgiven, and have chance at everlasting life.
You've just got to accept your SELF now.  And move forward from there. Keep your mind alert ("forever vigilant" ), to the fact evil does exist, it does want to hurt us, and it does seek us out, - Especially those who love and choose God.
And if you feel you are not strong enough to change certain things about you which are preventing you from achieving your ends; if Satan himself you suspect is a part of that picture.  Then just confess that to God; pray for God's intervention.  That he keeps you far from the path of all manner of evil, harm, hate, malice, and trouble of any kind.  That he puts you on high alert when around such forces; that it will be impossible for the seekers of your soul to work subtly, or in privy, against you. For even when they do, you will have knowledge of it. God gives knowledge, secret knowledge even, to those who are sincere, whom seek Him out.
