My granddad rescues them;unwanted pets, injured wild animals, breeding animals the breeders don't want anymore for numerous reasons. He also does a lot of static displays where people can stroke and hold them as well as a lot of educational talks at various places. Ocasionally he has to buy them for educational purposes or to keep the display side going as it is this that funds the rescues and feeding of the 27 owls we have at present.
