I dunno, posting art on non-art focused platforms make me nervous about the control over my content. I'm even a bit hesitant with my tumblr, which for the most part hasn't been too bad; but I have had my art taken from there and I've had to do follow ups.
I've been on DA a while and I've almost never had that problem (I think only once, and it was half my fault XD; )
that or maybe my art isn't that populAR BUT HEY WHO KNOWS RIGHT??

Personally I find dA is extremely dead and my IG is pretty popular. It's harder to take unless people screencap and then its just way too much effort to crop X'D
Most people have been moving to twitter and IG for art, but I don't have a twitter (I mean I do... but only to stalk drama like a NERD)
