# About me
I'm a wee bit of a Renaissance man, the way I see it.I like a lot of music from Celtic to metal to '50s rock to Celtic rock. I can play the Irish Pennywhistle and Uilleann Pipes. I can draw and paint fairly well if I put my mind to it. I've studied the philosophy of Plato and Aristotle, the geometry of Euclid, Ptolemy, and Apollonius, the Epics of Homer and Dante. I have attempted to write novels and poetry; I find linguistics, languages, words, and their development fascinating.

Hey! Long time no see! School; we're advancing into our last partial week before Christmas break. I get out Wednesday at like 10:40, so I should be back home in the afternoon! Can't wait. Been playing games with my roommate and suitemates, like Borderlands Presequel, Super Smash Bros Wii U, and such. Good times. Did National Novel Writing Month again, in November, and won with 51,200/50,000 words!Ā

Thanks!Ā
Yeah I also got this idea for a new story (probably short story), an alt history based around the 1776 United States Continental Marines raid against British-controlled Nassau. This is what I'm thinking:Ā
The MC, Royal Navy Captain McGregor is sailing under the thumb of a paranoid jackwagon Admiral Fletcher in Nassau, in his HMS Lioness. He has to also deal with a bit of an adversary, Captain Stack, but there is his friend Captain Cahill, and McGregor's executive officer Mr. Cooper. McGregor just wants to get a simple innocent letter to Matilda in British controlled New York, but Stack thinks he's corresponding with an American spy, and convinces the Admiral, trying to regain points with him and get at his adversary. Eventually there ends up being clashes of arms and McGregor and the Lioness escape to America where he helps the Americans with information about Nassau, and helps the raid happen, where him and Cahill prevail over Stack and the Brits, with the Americans The Admiral probably would have been killed trying to apprehend McGregor already, being what prompts him to flee Nassau.Ā

Art work: coming along very well.
Renaissance man - Keep at it. I like your thinking. Most people today would, hell, Do sneer at such things, but anyone who likes history has a good mind in my book.
