I really liked the whole story, but the fight scene and the ending are my favorites, the whole text is nicely done in my opinion.
Usually, Most of the Fighting parts in a story are a bit slow or Boring but you did a pretty good job, I could totally relate it with Monster hunter and Imagine the scene in my head. Keep it like that, It was pretty good.

(sidenote) I want to continue writing these stories and I wanted to ask, "What weapon type should I do next?" If you give me more than one, I may do all of them depending on how I can imagine them working together.

About the Weapons, In my opinion, I love Dual blades, Great Swords and hammer, but all the Weapons in Monster hunter are pretty cool so, I can't choose only one. But, I would love to see a story about Dual Blades.
