# About me

I'm a small town fellow from the smaller town of Thermal California. Er... it's 30 miles South of Palm Springs. I've not had an easy life, but I think those experiences have shaped me into a guy I don't mind being. The funny thing is, I shouldn't be here in two ways. The first being the fact that I'm a fiction writer with Dysgraphia. A learning disability that hampers, of all things, my ability to write! Make sense of that one. Second, I shouldn't be alive. I'll skip the long story, but I was one bad day away from suicide when I entered high school. The events of 9/11 changed all that. Combined with a poem read by another student in class, not only was the creative side of me awoken, but it saved me too. It taught me to take life by the horns and make it work for me for a change. I've never forgotten that lesson, or how I learned it. Dysgraphia? Not stopping me. Dirt poor? Hasn't stopped me yet. It's like something I saw on a message board once. "If life gives you lemons, throw them back and demand chocolate."

No, I bought a full detail commission. We're at the "tweaking the sketch" phase.

As for comments, it might help if I had something posted. My skills are all written word and seeking a publisher, so posting them here would damage my chances. Anything visual well, there isn't much visual.

Something I may soon change..... maybe.
