Turns out that the reasons why I could not get too far were mental health issues literally preventing me from spending a proper amount of time necessary to get anywhere. After quitting that, getting a full-time blue-collar job at a thrift store, and getting the self-confidence to be able to run errands to get free health care, behaviorial health was the highest priority and I sought that as quickly as I could.

I knew that lifestyle had to be something I needed to quit since I was clearly not ready for it.
