So what exactly is the difference between Communism and Socialism?

Communism is commonly miss thought more to be Stalinism, but "true" communism is a society with no class, no higher being, such as a President or leader, and no currency, tbh anarchy really, Socialism is what the USSR was really in the 70s and 80s, a classless society in which one is given needing things such as food and water and housing depending on their needs and abilities. Must I go on further?

Well, I may not be a political scientist, but I think the reason alone why "true Communism" would never work is because humanity will always find ways to divide themselves. Not necessarily out of prejudice, but because for the sake of classification; knowing which group does what, how much they contribute to society, and what are the benefits. Those who work the hardest, or have the most talent, tend to garner more respect or the most privileges.
Plus, as human beings, we just like money.

Indeed, and thats why I tend to side with say a PRC Capitalistic-Communistic/Socialist hybrid of it, cause even I have realized I have basically separated myself from said "classes" before, and irl just tend to be a bit greedy when it comes to money or something I want, basically making me a hypocrite of my own political beliefs. And also, by no means am I a political scientistΒ either, I just go off what I research myself.Β
