Update: I looked it up and found only one other person who ran into this issue, but no solutions lol it might be a glitch, or even a coding error. I reeeeeally hope I can find a way around it because I won't be able to progress otherwise : (

Update: I made it out of one house and immediately got trapped in another one. What do you want from me game

I dunno what I did before to make it register my touch but now I'm just. Sitting here swiping at the screen repeatedly hoping that it registers again. I am sad

Update: Okay, I've realized that not all the houses are affected, and even the glitchy ones can be escaped with a lot of swiping and patience I didn't even know I had. At least I hope so. Also as long as I've saved my file outside of a house I can always reboot it and start outside. The problem with that is my progress isn't saved because I cannot save my file in a house. I dunno if that makes sense but I'll keep you updated

Update: mkay I've narrowed it down to about two houses that I need to be able to escape in order to progress. Turns out mindlessly swiping at the screen for two hours straight does not always work :' ) luckily I saved my file outside so I don't boot up the game trapped in a house. I've decided if I can't find a way around this glitch by the end of this week, I'm giving up on this game. Which I really really don't wanna do since I'm actually close to finishing it. Wish me luck and I'll keep you updated <3

Update: I regret to inform you that I am in fact quitting Zelda phantom hourglass. I don't want to and I hate it but also. My life is too short to be fighting glitches in a professionally made game lol there's other games I wanna get to, I'll come back to this one later

Awww that’s so sad!! That’s so weird that it glitched like that! Definitely quit if it’s not working don’t waste your time lol. Apparently there’s a room in twilight princess that glitches if you save in it and it won’t let you leave the room. Man that super sucks… I hope it works in the future

I have never been so relieved to finish a dungeon as I was last night, it was hard and I just barely made it before dying. And then the game is like "oh hey you wanna do this room for extra credit?? It's 20% harder than what you just did!!" and I was like "nope nope nope get me out of here please" I've never felt so claustrophobic in a video game before XD

I love that they make me think and strategize but oof they're painful,,, especially in Phantom Hourglass which makes you go through the same dungeon repeatedly so that you get better at it over time. By the end of it last night I was like "GOD PLEASE get me back on the boat hdhevjrvjvrr"

It would traumatize any kid, and Luigi's already an anxious mess XD Mario's memories from that time are a little happier, 'cause he was taken care of by the Yoshis, but he still has dreams about Luigi disappearing from his life,and that scares him. A lot of siblings grow up and drift apart, but the bros have been through waaaay too much together to let go so easily.

Well you know how people treat him horrible in the games. In the au, Mario becomes a doctor and leaves his life as a hero. Luigi does it for him because he wants to but the toads treat him horribly because he’s not good enough and he’s not Mario. Mario was always so busy with being a doctor and Luigi just felt super lonely and he eventually just snapped. He snapped at Mario always being better than him and having everyone adore him and he snapped at the toads treating him horribly. (I started a mini comic where Luigi kindly punts a toad onto a roof but I only have the first page done lol.) but yeah

Oooh I love the idea of Peach being a badass warrior princess XD I think I even designed armor for her once. Bowser just vibing and trying to take over the mushroom kingdom through trade wars and export taxes lol

Thinking about how Luigi x Peasley or luigi x Daisy would work out in this AU. Like they'd try to help him but can't stop his descent into villainy. I think ultimately Mr. L needs to repair his relationship with Mario

Here’s the thing with Daisy and Peasley.
Prince Peasley is supposed to be the king because his mother was cursed and they can’t figure out a way to get her back to normal (throwback to super star saga.) Peasley refuses to become king and goes to help out his mother and happens to meet Mr. L and Daisy just wants to cause a ruckus. Idk how their relationships will work but they travel as a trio causing problems and helping out (to calm down L.) but yeah he solves his problem with Mario first

I love it. I'm a little torn between luisly and luaisy, I really like both ships!! Daisy and Peasley are both such big characters tho. OH OH OH

what if Bowser kidnaps Dr. Mario because he wants his nemesis back dammit, and Mr. L is like "it's super mario, he can save himself" but he eventually goes to save his bro and runs into Peasley who is on his own quest to break his mom's curse and of course they butt heads at first but slowly they start to fall in love and why do all my ideas have to become multi-chapter fanfics I ALREADY HAVE TOO MANY PROJECTS--
