Ylepra was sent by END to scout over some strange events. As you could read an army of abominations is preparing something, miles away from New Old Home. Something huge is arriving.
Thats basically it, for the rest we learn about a third character who is talking with Ylepra, and with we get a shard of past of the two of them, when they teamed up in fact.

I get its confusing, its a lot of informations and very not precise. If it can help you, read that Ylepra part again. It's mostly teasing and preparing future parts 
1) There is a third character in the END team.
2) An army of darkness is sprouting far from New Old Home
3)Ylepra and that third person seem very close.
The rest is detail, description and mostly about knowing more about Ylepra a little, his past a bit, his mentality, his capacities also. It's character development for short ^^. I hope it's a bit clearer.
