It was pretty good. Yesterday my family threw me a party at home and we made a BBQ as well as grated potatoes for a side. We all ended pretty full and hardly got to the cake. I did receive gifts, though most of them were in cash since my family do know the things I like but not where to get them from. Also one of my brothers got me Cuphead and Mugman for Steam. My youngest brother saddly could not attend since he had to attend an event where he and his band were going to play music.

Then this Monday my co-workers also celebrated my birthday at work and brought boneless chicken wings and another cake. We had fun and besides my co-workers, there were some of the higher-ups in management that joined since I esentially work for at least three different departments and they all know me because of all the work I do.

Then after getting back home, my youngest brother who could not assist on Sunday came over and invited me to go to Laredo. Therre he got me the 1/100 Zaku II Kai as well as something to compliment it:

Oh man that's sweet. I guess in a sense, you did get your cake (or burger) and eat it too in regards to wanting that Zaku II model. Must've been a blast with all that food and family-especially since it was extended over the course of a few days from your early gifts to even your higher ups at work joining in. Bet the pride in your work shows for the managers to take part and may you have fun with Cuphead. By the way, I didn't know your brother was in a band, what do they play?

It really was, and definitively there was lots of food involved so I'll be taking it easy the next few days. I'll probably start working on the Zaku these next few days and on the weekend, I'll focus on the MG Sinanju Stein that I got for myself.

I do. I think it's innpart because my parents also worked there back when it was Sony, so I feel that I have to do it better. It also helps because when things get tough, I can adapt since I'm already used to work pretty hard.

Oh, my youngest brother is a musician at the municipal band, as well as a teacher in a highschool and is also part of a music band that performs on all kinds of events like parties, bars, restaurants, etc. He domains mainly the piano and similar instruments. My other brother plays electric guitar frommt time to time and used to have a death metal band back when he was in highschool. I also have a sister who moved to New York back in 2007 and we talk to her on video chats.

Those are some intriguing facts-Reminds me of when my Uncle suggested to get us in his line of work and how my sister was a singer at her school but pursued a career in psychology instead. Maybe I'd like to hear anything from them if there are any recordings of that music. Take your time with Sinanju and food; really savor it since you put in the work to earn those.

Man, it's been years since I last saw you back in the forums, but I still remember you and the rest of the gang.

I've been doing well. Still working at Sony though a few months ago the plant was bought over by another japanese company called TKR corporation. Good thing is they will keep all the personnel and not only expand operations but also hire more people.

I've been doing great for the most part. In the past year, I went from ride attendant to factory worker, so no more getting yelled at for doing my job right. Also, it's closer to home, so I also don't spend as much on gas. In short, more cash and sanity is always good.

Got into conversation about Valkyria Chronicles with one of my new co-workers who thought you played as the wrong side in the 3rd game. So I tried to go to the forums, and that's how I found out how they didn't exist anymore. I caused so much chaos there. Started the hurt & heal craze and introduced Helium to the community. (Who at the time didn't realize that L33t speak would be accepted.)

I didn't know that you work at Sony. Sounds pretty cool to me... Even though things seem to be changing in that regard, huh?

Overall, this week has been a little rocky, but otherwise it's been okay.
