I don't want to scare you but I want to warn you that there could be a reboot of daria and the reboot is a femnazi.

We'll see how things go but, personally, I'd prefer that the writing & animation teams involved buck the 'reboot'/'remake' trend and make a more original series.
MTV struck more than gold during the 90s with shows like Daria, Downtown and The Head. If this new MTV Studio isn't planning to follow Daria (among other characters) during her college years, I'd prefer that they use what they learn from the aforementioned (UNCUT) episodes as a cornerstone to a better (read: weirder) show.
*Anything* is possible in the world(s) of anime-tion. A show about
- amateur superheroes (ie a shapeshifting goth girl, a dominatrix with zipper-based powers, etc)
- a youkai rock band
- a college student and her (shameless) female genie
- sentient techno-organic/robot women learning about human behaviour (via strip clubs, etc)
- all of the above
could do more than upstage classic cartoons like Duck Amuck and the Teen Titans episode, Fractured - it could raise the bar on what the team(s) and medium are capable of.
Here's hoping that MTV will consider these other possibilities.
Until then, let's judge the final product on its own merits, once/if it arrives.

Aww, thanks! ^^ Wow, it's been over a decade since I started this. So much happened since. Even met and worked with an artist from the original crew during a project last year. Though I probably won't be doing any more fan art for this. Too busy doing my on IPs @ my own studio now.
That said, I got a bunch of unfinished Daria stuff. A few animations in different finished states, even one with voice acting. I should post them in scraps one day and maybe someone might enjoy them... if I can dig them out of some digital dirt ~_~

Okay you're the best person to ask. Best FREE 2d animation program? I have toon boom pro and it's just for a lack of a better term p!ssing me off. I got a flipbook on my phone which is fun but I can't do the advance things I want to do for a 3 min animation. Should I just go back to the good old dreaded flash?

Heya Mister long time no speak, how is everything going? How's work going? We are trying to create our own app for Ironfest, we thought how hard could it be people do it all the time. BOY WERE WE WRONG!!! My brain is not designed to use coding, and all that mumbo jumbo jargon. We have had so many things going on: conventions, tea duelling, cosplay days and this is all in the lead up to Ironfest. We have a LARP and over $4000 in prizes to give away for the cosplay competition, it's been a hectic couple of months. Hopefully it wll all come together for Ironfest. This festival could really make or break us. Anyways if you have any advice I would really love to hear it especially in the design phase of things. Take care, happy holidays and stay safe!

I got this news from ~Bruiser235 unfortunately SSJO4_Mewtwo passed away on the 15th of march he was my age. He was known to many in the fanfiction community for his shipping pairs and lots of work on different sections from the fandom world from books to cartoons.
