As for your question...things are...calm. But fine. Sort of a stand-by...nothing new, particularly. 
Apart from that, I've been working on some stories with a friend of mine, writing a lot. It's what keeps me distracted the best from the above problems. Just sucks that I don't have the coin to commission artists to bring my characters to life.

Calm is still pretty good, though, so that's good to hear. Sorry to hear about family issues, but I think things will get better in time. They usually do anyway, right? And really, if you can't do anything more than wait, then there's no sense worrying over it, at least not until it needs dealing with.
Wish I could say I've been writing as much, and I have been writing down and fleshing out story ideas. It's just actually writing those ideas into a post-able thing that's sort of kicking my butt. Well, that's not exactly right. I'm just not writing them. I'm just a little too absorbed in the world-building portion of it. Could be worse though, I suppose. It could just be a total idea-drought. So really, I've just been playing video games and trying to keep distracted from needing to find a job that can actually pay those bills that'll come up eventually. Don't really want to stay stuck in the parent's house for many more years. I went and got my Commercial drivers license, so now I'm talking with companies to get hired on. So here's hoping for the best when it comes to that. Not that there's anything going agianst me, but damn is it annoying

Yeah, there isn't anything else to do besides waiting...and fixing the little issues that appear every now and then. As the saying goes...the karma has to be fulfilled. It's funny how we just can't escape some situations...
Fortunately, writing keeps me away from these problems, but the lack of inspiration sometimes angers me a little, so I just go play videogames as well...Strike Fighters 2 has been keeping me quite busy in the last days
And don't push yourself too hard on the world-building focus, I, too, am quite...OCD about it.
Sometimes also changing aspects in the past requiring several changes in the present to fit everything together and give a proper sense to the facts is another obsession of mine.

Yeah, I have the issue where I get too many ideas to work with, and then get locked in never-ending world-building, but it's by and large not the worst problem i could be having. I've been putting off writing and other adult tasks with games more along the lines of Stardew Valley. Been playing a huge amount of SDV lately. It's just really damn relaxing honestly. And some The Long Dark, which is also very good, but less relaxing. But yeah, it's stupid late because we actually had to make an impromptu trip to the ER because the dog saw a opossum and got a little too excited in his desite to play, and sort of...crushed is still a really aggressive word, but sort of caught my hand painfully between the door frame and his retractable leash handle, so i've got a pretty good knot going on. Typing is a little painful, down in my wrist and the tip of my middle finger (it got mildly 'crushed' as well) so I'm going to get in bed, then get up, go gets some meds filled, and probably come back home and take a nap.
but yeah, gonna sign off for now and get in bed with the great opossum harasser for a few hours. Have a good day/night

Yes, I'm still alive and active here...just not exactly...active.
To tell you the truth, it's the usual, quite busy with personal things to take care of, plus lack of inspiration (or should I say mood? Yeah, I guess mood is better in this case) to write anything, although ocasionally I still write a few lines, just not bothering to post them and, well...a mix of laziness and focus on other things, like playing videogames...
Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator and, in the last few months, Elite Dangerous...quite good titles.
I do miss the old days, though...epic RP's, epic characters, all that fun...
Too bad I still can't draw for shit.
