Du willst mich doch verarschen T__T Deine gallery kann sich gut und gern mit den ganzen professionals die ich sonst so watche messen. Da hab ich noch ne ganze menge nachzuholen wenn ich irgendwann zu dir aufholen will ._. warum studierst du überhaupt noch und bist nicht schon mitten in der branche?
Naja trotzdem danke für´s watchen und verdammt, dein zeugs ist einfach nur abartig gut!
Noch dazu magst du anime, hast die kingkiller chronicles als fav book und zeichnest Metroid fanart (auch wenn ich prime 2 eher schwach fand)!
Joa also ich glaube wir kommen gut aus ^_^

Wir haben alle noch viel vor uns. Ich habe nur die Angewohnheit, nicht darauf zu warten, von anderen etwas beigebracht zu bekommen, erst recht nicht bei Software. :happybounce:
Ich denk auch, dass wir aufeinander klarkommen. :D (Big Grin) Werde jetzt keinen Rant anfangen, schreiben dauert bei mir immer so lange. Direkter Dialog ist mir lieber. Daher: Man sieht sich in der Vorlesung oder so. ;) (Wink)

So great to see another artistic fan of the Prime games :) (Smile) I honestly think the Trilogy did everything far better than any of the 2-D games(design, story, characters, atmosphere, music, etc.)

Super Metroid is awesome too and I also liked the story part of Fusion, but, you're right, the Primes are a whole other experience. An amazing one to be precise. ;) (Wink)

Amazing indeed :D (Big Grin) I've just recently started to replay through Prime 2. The level designs are so complicated I can still get lost even after multiple playthroughs.

Fusion had a cool story, definitely enjoyed the awesomely creepy plot of the X-parasites. Super Metroid I enjoyed as well but I'll always be a clinger to the 3-D games. Probably can attribute that to nostalgia, they're what I grew up with :) (Smile)

Lol, no one else to blame but me. I'm experimenting (and learning anatomy) a lot at the moment, so there are lots of sketches that I won't show :P (Lick) , but also my lack of commenting and forum posts I think

how did you get that good at digital painting? Been trying people and environment studies for weeks but everything just keeps on coming out terrible. got any advice?

I'm not that good, lol. :D (Big Grin)
Studies are great, but you need to know the fundamentals, especially the way light behaves and how colors saturate and desaturate witch certain brightness. Not just talking about things like light and perspective, also anatomy (30-second-poses, do them, they're great). Knowing about the skeleton and muscle structures also helps. I look them up most times when it comes to drawing animals.^-^
And some standard tips:
-Don't get lost in details when you aren't pleased with what you already have (refrain from zooming in early)
-use reference (helps greatly with shading)
-look up tutorials. Kienan Lafferty's have helped me a lot. :D (Big Grin)

Don't feel discouraged. It takes time to get better. :) (Smile)
I like the dynamics your stuff has. Add some fundamentals and great things might come out.
