Dubbing is only for cartoon/animation films. I can't stand watching real footage where mouths move and the sounds don't fit

Well, you see...
Here in italy there isn't a sub-title culture for the movies...
All movies are dubbed...
But what I mean with "bad dubbing" is when character voices are horrible and the original dialogue's meaning (such as The Holy Grail's gags) are incomprehensible...

Oh well. Yes, much of the dialogue dies in translation. And a lot of puns. Which is why I rarely watch anything but original(if English) or subtitled if anything else.. ^_^ It's good passive English education.
