I gues it depends where it is in development and one is defined as progress. This club in particular is in it's fledgling stages. I can see why clubs often lose popularty with its watchers (espeacially when 20 or deviations suddenly pop up on the watch list from the same place), but giong by what I saw on the-toasters, it would appear that people are still interested. What was the-toasters club about?

I guess I was trying to say, or ask, rather, what do you actually gain from a club? Not to mention that my true passion is photography and I have no desire to "better" myself poetically.
The toasters was just some BS little group that I did with this guy on DA that made icons for people, me being one them. It turned into this semi-interesting thing where we had ideas on photos or whatnot and everyone who wanted to could submit one. I didn't see the point after awhile and so I gave the password to someone else.
On a side note - your internet is randomly down and you don't have MSword? Are you kidding me?!!

No hon, I'm not kidding you. Are internet wasn't connecting and it took us a while to fix the problem.
As for the missing word program, that's not bullshit either. My brother cleaned out the computer a while back and that was one of many programs that never got reinstalled. With any luck I'll find the instalation disk some where about the apartment.
I've a question for you on the former, Do really beleive technical diffculties are planned?
Anyway, what is accually gained from joining any club depends on the person and the club itself. For example, joining a photography club would do me no good as I don't own a camera. Joining a digial art club however will give me access to the insight of other digital artists, and a chance to give insight to those artists in turn. I also can meet people of like and differing intersts for any future collaberations that might come along the way. If someone doesn't believe that they'll gain anything from joining a club, thin it's not likely that they will, and they cannot (and should not feel that are being) be forced to.
The-toasters sounds like a good place to go if one want to share ideas or collaberate on the making of various types of icons, and possibly I.D.s.

Ummmm isn't that was DEVIANTART is about?!! Why do we need clubs to do this?!!
My advice to you if you want to be a writer learn how to write and use correct english, "are internet"?? Can you tell me what's wrong with that? That would be a great start.

Granted, while clubs aren't really necesary for producing colaboartors, but they are nice to have around. I don't know how most people run these and to be honest this is the first and only club I'm accually running.
Seeing as you have a distain for clubs perhaps the the best discourse you would be to simply create a peice showing such distain. Please bear in mind mind that this is only a sugestion and not an order.
Looking back on the conversation so far I've noticed you seem to be a bit high-strung. take a moment to calm your nerves, then get back to if you still feel like it.
