I haven't done more than scan the first few panels so far. I'm tied up beta reading a novel for a friend. I will be back and I will comment. Β

I found all the bits and pieces I've read so far to be interesting, but I am not familiar with the different fandoms to choose a favorite. I haven't even heard of some of the characters. Keep writing and drawing. It's pretty good.

I just noticed that you favored the rewrite of chapter 16. Thank you, I feel so unworthy. Because I know how strict your standards are.

Wow, an entire multi-part chapter, plus a blog, added to your faves? I'm blushing, woman. Or else your standards are slipping... lol. Thank you!

I do hope you are planning to collect them into a book.Β I know there are a million of them out there, but always room for one more.

Great minds... I've been thinking the same thing recently. After AYL takes off, it just might be useful to have in my back pocket. π

Yeah. Do you sign your books on Amazon up for the Lending Library or Kindle Unlimited?Β You get paid for each page read.Β You may have to be a Prime member, I'll have to look into that.

I am a Prime member, but I didn't know that. If you find out more, please let me know. Thanks for the heads-up.

I can imagine my Dad reasoning in such a way, but he chose to keep his body alive (like Treece with Reid) until Mom was ready to let go. I could feel him hovering near the ceiling, watching.

Something in what I am currently writing caused me to recall a comment you made in the Lir Tales (though not quite sure where), as to how, despite that the Lir and logos consider themselves children, they certainly spoke adultly enough....Β And it sparked an idea for a conversation which will be taking place in one of the upcoming scenes I'll be working in the next day or so.
Thanks!

Damn, you're quick. Thanks for the fave. Was I a wimpy new mother or what? Lol.

Not as wimpy as I was.Β First time the folks left me alone with baby Beth we both screamed until they came back. Mom took her and she shut right up. It took me another hour to stop sniffling. lol

Lol! Made me think of my sister who called my mom sobbing. Wanted her to come help give Jenny a bath. She was angry mom left her alone to drown her child!Β
How old old were you, btw? I can't reconcile the strong indie woman you are now with a new sniffling mommy.

Just turned 20 and had never been around babies other than my sister and she had so many admirers, I didn't need to do anything for her. I was an outside, horse wrangling, tomboy girl handed a breakable little person and she didn't trust me any more than I did.

What a wonderful description: an outside, horse wrangling, tomboy girl handed a breakable little person... If you don't use that in a novel someday... I'm going to come mess up your sock drawer.Β

I am always secretly pleased when you fave something of mine, because I know you are extremely discriminating. Thank you for singling out All the King's Men. It rates high with me, too.

If I can read the same piece 3 times and it still makes me react, it has to be good and worthy of a fav.
