It use to take me 15-20 hours, but I bought an electronic cutter and now I do them probably in 4-7 hours.

I consider the discarded paper just as important as the kept pieces. I use to do stencil work which kind of trains you to properly have everything lined up properly. Consider an 8x10 piece. All discarded paper matches each previous layer when overlaying them. Then you treat it like putting pieces to a puzzle together. Remove the discarded layer that you used as your guide to line up everything.
