Hey man, so how long does it take you to finish and shaded a vector? Like your pinkie one.

maybe four to five hours. maybe it'll decrease after inkscape 0.91 is released, since i always spend some time test-rendering to see how it looks (i work in no filter mode to save my laptop from burning out )

I have no experience with inkscape sorry dunno what test render is lol.

my own way of saying export to .png just to see what it actually looks like since doing so in inkscape while it runs is too much for my laptop to handle (sorry i forgot you use illustrator )
i have access to illustrator but never tried using it, is there a steep learning curve for that? i've heard good things about it.
