Heh. Well, stereotypes are often true, that's why they exist. They're not true in 100% of cases, but probably 90% of 90% of the group being stereotyped. It's an intelligent thing to stereotype, in many cases.

I know that there are "exceptions to the rules", so to speak, but the rules do exist.

It is not crucial for your survival, but it can help you to survive or enjoy life. eg:
It behooves non-Blacks to stay away from Blacks, for example, due to high crime rates associated with Blacks. It also behooves Blacks to stay out of Asian countries due to the high discrimination and outright dislike that the overwhelming majority of Asians show for Blacks.

If I am awful, then the Japanese must be absolutely atrocious. At least I'm honest (they are too; political correctness is a "Western" phenomenon that is on its deathbed).
