Im not a lone star fur but me and a few freinds are planning a fur meet there and will be attending if youd like to jion that be great were going to take group pictures around the con and play games.

If you have a face book i can show you some furs who are already getting together there?

i dont live in san antonio i live in pearsall TX 60 miles south from there but i will be attending san japan :3

I gotcha. Yeah, I'm not a big Facebook Fan due to some major security issues that it's got. If you want to, you should join the LSF board so you can meet up with the furs from San Antonio. They're a great bunch and it would be easier to plan a meet-up with all of the furs from there that way.

I know that my cousin (Oshun, the Caracal) and I will be going, and maybe a few others as well. Some have said that they don't want to go because either they're not into anime or they want to avoid any conflict that might come up from the anti-fur crowd. (not that there was really any that I've seen).

It'd be great to see you at SJ this year, and plus if they know more furs are going, you can help to motivate the lazy butts in the fur community here in SA.

i know a few people in the furry community and if you introduce me to your furends ill proudly let them jion our furmeet

So far i have 2 mice a rabbit and maybe a skunk joining including myself the mutt in the gang were tring to make it larger so it be great, Some of use dont pay much attention to animie some more then others but there always new furs there and we love making friends :3

I think you know who Entis fox is aka Justice hes the one who made more into the fandom he was the first fur who i ever really had a furry related conversation irl with xD

I'm pretty much the only committed anime fan, since I lean more towards the Otaku / Cosplay fandom than the furry fandom myself.

The others that I've met are mostly like "Oh yeah, that anime stuff is pretty cool." but it's not like they'd get together to watch anime or anything like that.

Anime cons are just a cool place to hang out with a bunch of nerdy people who also happen to be in costume. 99.99% of anime fans consider furries to just be some cool costumers who like dressing like animals over humans.

(Plus girls think you're like a giant stuffed animal and want to hug you - A LOT )

But yeah, come on over to the LSF board and say hi to everyone over in the San-Japan thread. (It's in the San Antonio - other events subforums). Seeing actual furries coming to the con will motivate some of our fence sitting friends to come, and of course the more the merrier.
