Lol - I find that hard to believe Your work has always been exemplary within the fandom <3 And yeah - kind of awesome to still have so many friends around even when most of us have wavered in and out of both KH and dA over the years I haven't been *really* into KH for a couple of years - but at the same time it's never too far from my top fandom at any one time - so it's really easy to slip back into

oh man xDD i wassss.. i usually only met people through my other friend haha... though i feel like people are more open to you if they know what you do (like you post fanart or write fanfics)

i fell out of KH for awhile, not that I didnt like it, I just got distracted by other things xD... and well.... after the KH3D trailer, that gave me the excuse I needed to go back into it... and back into i am haha.. drawing, reading, faving... its like reobsessing all over and i love it xD only difference this time is there's a lot less art/writing being pumped out, but I kind of like that too. I feel like I can keep up with things xD

since I grew up with KH i think it'll always hold a soft spot in my heart (so cheesy, yet so appropriate for kh ahaha)

Definitely true about people only really opening up once they have seen / read some of your stuff. It makes sense too – people put so much of themselves into their art, it feels like getting to know them when you have watched what they create for long enough It shows you what they are passionate about and kind of forms a one way bond when you see all the similarities in interests and whatnot you share.

I always found it really funny – especially back when I first forced Lauren on to dA – how she was so completely closed off and actively pushed people away – but individuals kept coming up acting as though they were long friends after reading her stories. It’s an interesting dynamic. The weirdest thing for me, someone who doesn’t really post stuff because honestly I have next to no time for art what with all the crazy of work and my thesis and whatnot – was when Lauren happened to mention in one of the author’s notes at the top of a chapter about how I forced a little piece of dialogue in about certain characters making out on a kitchen stove into the chapter. I actually ended up receiving several e-mails and notes on dA – a site she hadn’t linked me to at all in the note – from people who hunted me down to say thanks and be super friendly and whatnot after just that tiny inclusion. Not a bad thing – but odd.


Well in any case I’m glad you’re back into things on here – even if not to the same intense extent I am currently focused more on final fantasy xiii – seeing as the latest game just came out a couple of days ago – but I can always find time to enjoy some excellent Roxas * Axel deliciousness KH was the first video game that I got *really* into – fandom and all – so it’ll always be my go to I believe. No matter how long since I have really paid much attention I can slide back in in no time It also helps that I have all my play arts boys staring at me from my bookshelf in my room so I’m never far from them

So do you also enjoy FF? What other worlds are you into?

Yeah! It's kinda of weird, I never really noticed it. But sometimes when I would make a post/journal or something people I didn't know at all would be like 'i missed you!' 'so glad you're back, welcome back!' and i was just like 'o--oh.. thanks ' surprised that people felt that.. connected? enough to comment, and such.

hahaha I vaguely remember that scene (it was so long ago!) But yeah, mere mentions and people are like 'ooh I want to know this person who is close to the author/artist I adore' xDD also, fandom has mad people finding skillz, I've noticed haha

Haha, I just picked up the collectors edition and my preorder bonus the other day but I can't play yet cause I never finished 13! I got about halfway through and school/other things distracted me and I've never gotten around to finishing... but i wanted 13-2 collectors edition anyways so bought it when it came out so I can get to it eventually xD I've played through all of FF7 and FF10, played FF11 mmo for years, tried FF8 but couldn't really get too into it, only really shipped ff7 chars though. I looove hope in ff13 but... I haven't found anyone I would like to pair him with so I just fawn over him xD So yes! I do like FF games, but all of my fandom shipping really is focused in KH which I've been playin since the first one came out xD I think I subconsciously shipped sora and riku before I even knew what shipping was...

As for other fandoms... I just got out of Durarara fandom, was in that for a yearish, I never really got into No.6 fandom but I loved the anime and the chars, and I've watched Supernatural forever so when I realized there was a huge fandom for it that was a lil fun but I only was in it for the gifs haha, I liked the show more than the fandom. I think thats about all the fandoms I've really dabbled in recently haha KH still remains the fandom I was most intensely involved in, and it's also the only one I've revisited multiple times xDD
