Height: 5'5. Generally on the shorter side compared to other states because she's a female and she's smaller then Southern California. Also gets this from her Latino and Asian heratige.

Capital: Sacramento
Population: Around 13-15m, depending on which counties you want to define as Northern California. Statewide, the population is 38m. She's smaller then Southern California, who has around 22m people.
Motto: Eureka (Greek for "I have found it")
Age: Around 400 years old but looks in her mid 20's. ((Note: I'm going off the time Spanish explorers came to CA))
Languages Spoken: Knows fluent English, Spanish, and Chinese. Can speak some Tagalog, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean. Speaks broken bits of many other Asian languages because of her history of immigrant populations and her proximity to Asia.
Religion: Non-practicing Catholic, only really attends church on holidays and other big events such as Beginning of Advent, Ash Wednesday, All Saints Day, ect. She used to be an adherent Catholic, especially when she was part of Spain and Mexico but became more lax with it when other religious denominations (especially Protestant, which eventually became the religion of a large portion of the population as of current day) were introduced into the state with immigrant populations. Generally knows a thing or two about Mormonism, having a history with the religion starting around the Gold Rush (1850’s), and also having the 2nd largest Mormon population around the U.S.
Random Facts: (While I work on her bio)
• Really, really hates it if you think of Californians in terms of just the Southern Californian stereotype (Meaning blonds with no brains, says “like” to often, fake boobs, doesn’t understand the concept of 4 seasons because it’s always summer over there, goes to Disneyland every second, ect.)
• Says “STOP STEALING MY WATER, SOCAL” pretty often
• Extremely tech savvy because she has Silicon Valley, which contains pretty much is the tech capital of the U.S and contains the headquarters of many, many tech companies (Apple, Ebay, Google, Intel, Youtube, ect)
• Goes to In-n-out at least once a week.
• Has a medical marijuana card (She actually does need it.)
• Roots for the 49ers and the Giants violently
• Has conflicted feeling about the Raiders ever since their move to L.A. and because of their general track record of sucking ((Sorry, that was my inner 49er fan coming out)).
• Also a fan of the Oakland A’s and San Jose sharks
• Contrary to popular belief, her climate is not perfect. It’s not summer 24/7 in Northern California like it is in Southern California. She won’t freak out when it’s under 75 degrees because it’s pretty common here, especially in the Bay Area and up in the really northern counties (Aka the counties which are practically Oregon)
• Prefers Longboarding and Skateboding over Surfboarding. Generally it’s too rocky and cold on the Northern California coast to go Surfboarding. Still knows how to do it though.
• Hates parking in San Francisco so usually ends up taking BART and other public transportation around the city
• Loves hiking
• Staunch supporter of LGBT+ rights, has been for a long time.
• Flaming Liberal
• Gets along with British Columbia pretty well because they’re very similar.

Disclaimer: I know some of you will probably shout at me for making a NorCal and not a California but hear me out: while it would seem more logical making just a California OC from an outside perspective, Northern California and Southern California are a lot different from each other. California has the largest population of the States, which leads to diversity depending on which region your in. Not to mention California is a huggee state. It's the 3rd largest state and takes arond 12 hours to drive from top to bottom, minus the traffic. I also currently live in Northern California and I hardly travel to Southern California so I wouldn't do justice representing SoCal if I made a California OC (★^O^★). It's kinda why some people split the Philippines into Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, because even if they're one country the regions are extremely different.))
