I romance Alistair with my dalish elf in DA: O
Fenris with my hawke as a mage
didn't play inquisition yet but i think i would romance cullen as a elven inquisitor
with a another inquisitor ironbull

In my second play in DA
Anders was my couple in DA2 (I fell in love with him since Awakening), he's heartbreaker but I forgive all what he did. He has his reasons xD
Cullen in Inquisition is interesting. For me, the best romances are Cullen, Solas and Blackwall, I recommend all of them. Iron Bull is funny xDD

To tell the truth i tried to do the same thing in DA: O in my second play to try to romance Zevran XP
Didn't work for the same reason xD
Anders was my second choice of romance in DA2
And somehow i was able to forgive him because he had the heart in the right place
I saw a bit of solas and blackwall romance and it's true they are also interesting choice

Yeah, DA has an interesting way of playing -roling with charachters is the best thing that BioWare did to his games xDD. Your friends are missing sooo much D:
