Just oh my gosh all my feelings in this, and I've been watching a lot of episodes having to do with Marceline today since they were recently reuploaded (Marceline's Closet, Back To The Nightosphere, Daddy's Little Monster) and just, oh my gosh man, Marceline.

It does it makes me so horrisad and happy at the same time because memories and just guh feelings I just can't.

Ohh D: It's odd how Marcy started off as that bad girl that trolls everyone, to a normal teenager going through their lil mood swings and drama. She's so lovable c: Though in the closet episode, her song... I gotta reread lyrics because she was talking about years of her life.

Yeah, I feel like the trolling prankster we were introduced to was like, it's her, but not all her, y'know? Like how you learn more of the dark secrets your friend has as you've known them. She'll always have that fire in her, but she also has the normal teenager with the mood swings and drama bombs as you mentioned.
At the end of "Daddy's Little Monster", when Marceline is all "Man Finn my dad actually LIKES you," she goes "I don't want to hang out with you anymore," so I'm wondering if that's why she hasn't shown up for god knows how many episodes, she was taking a break from Finn on-screen.
The only time after all that they'd get an episode with her is if they bring the story TO her, y'know? And of course it had to have Ice King, to add humor with his personality, which sorta balances out the angst of the episode overall, but also kind of makes it sadder because he doesn't remember.
