# About me
I'm a rather eclectic Arizona-based artist, mostly focusing on fantasy and science fiction... especially dragons, though all amazing creatures are fair game. I do digital drawing and painting, polymer clay sculpture, molding and casting, costume and prop-making, and lots more! I'm also a fan of Dragon Age and Mass Effect, and generally a complete geek, so expect some fan art and comics peppered into the mix! Phew, it's been an eternity since last we met.
I'll probably go to next year's Phoenix Comic Con, whether I'll dress up or not is questionable.
I have, however, recently returned to a series I've been doing on my page, titled Dragonsong which follows the story of a half-dragon in a kingdom riddled in war. If you want classic fantasy, that is my attempt at it!
P.S.: My writings skills are sub-par, but the idea behind many of my works are pretty decent, or, maybe, a gold mine. Take a look and see for yourself.

Your Garrus costume is amazing! The "Calibrating for Dummies" photo is great.
How long did it take to make the whole costume and did you find the latex mask particularly difficult?

Thanks, I appreciate it! It took about 7 months to complete. I've done some molding and casting before, so making the mask wasn't too difficult. I hadn't ever made armor before, so that was more of a challenge than the mask was. I'm hoping I'll have time to suit up at the Amazing Arizona Comic Con or at DarkCon, both in Phoenix coming up in January. I don't have any out-of-state plans at the moment, but if there's a show you attend that you'd like to see me at, you can always contact them and request me as a guest. I'm starting to put together panels on things like molding and casting, which may be something they're interested in having at their convention too. They'll sometimes invite cosplayers out if they really like the work we do. You never know! I want to try and make it to some more out-of-state cons on my own steam too, but it might not be until 2015 that I can make that happen.

Unfortunately, I still haven't been to any yet because I'm always working. I'm not sure what the most popular ones are around here but I'm in the North Carolina area. Wish it wasn't so far from you!

Well, there's a few conventions just about everywhere these days! North Carolina does have a few; there's a good listing here: www.geekcal.com/reviews/tag/st… However, you're about as close to Atlanta as we are to some of the big California conventions; if you get a chance, try to make it to Dragon*Con. I know it's rather big, which makes it a pain, but it also has the largest turnout of Mass Effect cosplayers that I know of in the country. There were at least 50 people in costumes ranging from Shepard to a volus (seriously) this year. I really want to make it to that one someday!
