Most likely. The whole DC universe is retconned after Crisis on Infinte Earths. Many heroes get new origins and the DC universe is only one universe not a multiverse, though Infinite Crisis turns it back into a multiverse. If the only real big thing that happens at the end of Secret Wars is Spider-man getting a black venom suit, then Crisis on infinite earth's had a bigger impact on its universe.

Well Wheaton, I see your point and The only other effects didn't seem all that big really. The thing stayed on the planet for a while, Colossus' relationship with kitty ended as soon as he returned, spider-woman was a member of the west avengers, and She-Hulk was on the fantastic four for a short while.

So I guess DC's event was better but, the introduction to secret wars even made me feel Marvel or atleast the guy writing the introduction was a dick to DC.

I'd say Doctor Doom would beat Luthor because he seems to be smarter and can prepare better. Also, that video has some of the worst reasons ever. They pretty much should have just said "we think DC sucks because we've never actually read any comics by DC or know anything about DC in general." I can actually give a bunch of reasons why Marvel is starting to suck:
They'll do anything to make $$
They ripped off of DC a lot
They're milking the crap out of their characters such as Deadpool who now has a Deadpool corps, and appears in a many titles now.
And I could list more reasons but I have a headache right now.

I may be a much bigger fan of DC than I am of Marvel, but unlike you I don't let my bias get in the way of determining who would win in a fight. And Lex Luthor isn't a criminal scientist anymore. Back in the days before the Crisis On Infinite Earths event he was a criminal scientist, but in the modern day he's just a shrewd businessman.

He's a businessman with a lot of smart scientists from around the world. He also has a lot of connections with people and he himself knows science to a degree. And if you've actually read the Public Enemies Graphic Novel, you'd know that he got that suit from Apokolips. If this was Pre-Crisis Lex Luthor with the same connections with people like Brainiac and Darkseid that he has today, then I'd say he could beat Doctor Doom. I don't really think today's Luthor would win though.

Someone must have edited it. Also, people don't get money for being better. They get more money for being louder and more popular. Most people I've seen who read both marvel and DC agree that DC is one million times better. Marvel has mostly been going after money in the past few years. That's why their richer. DC goes more for quality. Marvel has crappy writers like Jeph Loeb and Brian Bendis, while DC has amazing writers like Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, and Gail Simone. Marvel's artists include Rob Liefeld. DC has Jim Lee. Face it, DC is one million times better than Marvel and there's nothing you or anything or anyone in the universe can do about it.

Pssh... Did DC ever have Conan? No, but Marvel did! And Final Crisis sucked balls, along with DC One Million, and Allstar Superman... Morrison a great writer my ass! And you forget JL was a artist for Marvel first before DC, and before DC he worked on image title books. And Marvel has more then just rob liefeld as a artist, you can't really judge a company just by artists. And if DC is sooo great, how come FC sucked, while IGN the best form of comic book news gave the title of best company of 08 to Marvel? :3 Also DC rips off Marvel characters, characters such as Solomon Grundy, dr. Take that back! Final Crisis was one million times better than Secret Invasion. And Hulk is a rip-off of Solomon Grundy. Grundy was made in the 1940s while Hulk was in the 1960s. Dr. Strange ripped off Dr. Fate because Strange was made in the 1960s and Fate was in the 1940s. Gladiator, Sentry, and Hyperion ripped off of Superman. Thor ripped off of Captain Marvel. Asgard ripped off of New Genesis! IGN is on crack! I didn't just talk about artists. I said that DC has writers that are one million times better too. Marvel has Jeph Loeb and Brian Bendis who have been getting a lot of criticism for their writings of Red Hulk and Sentry respectively. DC has amazing writers like Geoff Johns and Gail Simone who write stories like Blackest Night, Sinestro Corps War, Brightest Day, Wonder Woman: Rise of the Olympian, Superman: Brainiac, the current AWESOME Birds of Prey series and much more. Pssh... Typical DC fanboy getting his panties in a knot. How can Asgard be a ripoff if it came first? And clearly no one has read Bendis' run on Daredevil as it's said to be as good or better then Frank Miller's run. Yes, what he did to the sentry in seige was total crap but it was force upon seeing how the avengers film is soon being made, but his other stuff with the sentry was good but so far not as good as his original book(I haven't reaD reborn yet). And Jeph Loeb's run on hulk is while not the best is still good, and it seems someone hasn't read his awesome X-man book. And what you forgot is that Marvel has Mark Millar, an awesome writer who came up with the best cocept, Ultimate Comics. DC hasn't done that.

DC thought of the idea of the Multiverse in the first place. And Marvel ripped off of them! And none of their runs are anywhere near as good as Geoff John's Blackest Night and his run on Green Lantern or Gail Simone's run with the current Birds of Prey series and Wonder Woman! Asgard is a rip-off because well.... uh.... because New Genesis is better! And next year, Green Lantern movie will be way better than Thor! It will be better than the Avengers Movie and every other Marvel movie too! I WINZ!

God... What kind of fail is this? DC didn't come up with the multiverse first because it was a scientific concept that came out years before DC used it. Did you even bother to read Bendis' run on Daredevil!? It won an esiner or whatever they call those comc book awards. And NG is not better cause it's gay... Infact, I could say the new gods are infact ripoffs of the concept of Norse mythology as the two planet were created after the deaths of the new ones just like Ragnarok. And how can you say GL will be the best comic book film out there of next year when no trailer has been released yet? And what about some other movies like Spider-man 4, X-men first Class, The Green Hornet, and Tintin? You really are a DC fanboy, aren't you? And you can't ultimately say GJ's run is better all of Marvel's runs as you clearly never read them. And if I wanted, I can say the idea of Superhero deconstructism did not come from Watchmen but rather squadron supreme. Once again, DC rips off another Marvel title. Also DC ripped off Marvel again, wtb Swamp thing as Man-thing came out before swamp thing.

Also besides Conan, Doc Savage, and the Shadow Marvel's run on Tarzan was once again miles upon miles better then DC's. Also Marvels is a lot better then Astro City.

I doubt you've read any of Gail Simone's Birds of Prey series which puts Bendis to shame. Geoff John's run is better than everything by Marvel! When was the last time Marvel did something good? Secret Invasion was crap. Final Crisis was way better. Blackest Night was way better than Dark Reign! Brightest Day is way better than all of Marvel's current events! DC never ripped off of Marvel!
