Hey! summer's going well, i'm in my second 4 week session. lotsa work, it's exhausting, but i feel like i'm accomplishing things. I think we should make plans for next semester, hopefully i'll have done some pages to show you! PS, do you think you want to come to otakon with me and some other people? if you're going with someone else, we could still meet up there.

Maaaaaaah... I would LOVE to go to Otakon, but I don't think it's going to work out, unfortunately. I don't have the money for that sort of thing right now, and I know my parents wouldn't fund it, haha. They're not as enthusiastic as I am about such things ^_^;

I need to get some pages done for you, too. I'm failing at my comic goal this summer... every other goal is being fulfilled, though, so I guess it's a good trade.

I won a teapot at a raffle at a Peter Pan play tonight. I'm happy :D (Big Grin)

Meh, don't feel bad. I'm failing too so far. I've written a bit more, but then my computer completely died and I lost everything :( (Sad) But I've still got the whole story in my head, so I didn't lose much. I suppose my other goals are being fulfilled too, summer classes are going really well. In metals and jewelry, we got to do a project that normal semester kids can't do-we went to a blacksmith school in Waynesboro and made knives out of steel bars. It's pretty sweet, I really like my knife. No other news to really report though, hope everything is going well on your end!

In case you don't know, homework for figure drawing is to do a self portrait head shot in the style of Edgar Degas on page 209. We're supposed to do it blurrily and with an emphasis on composition and contrast.
