Good news there is a new official Kirby game out on Nintendo's newest Switch console. Bad news the Cosmic Chaos project is apparently done for after many wasted years of hiatus and Kirby Star Allies seem to be the final nail on the coffinΒ for this great looking fan game of his.

Hi, remember me? I was Kirby98 before and now I came back to save some of your work which I lost after computer crashed.
I just love your art and 3d models so I hope you would stay here a little longer even if the Kirby Cosmic game has been on a very long hiatus.
My favorite characters from this game are some of the new helpers and villains to be introduced in this project, I forgot their names since it has been a long time when I got very busy after saving anything Cosmic Chaos related two years ago. The red guy with long nose and green leaf fan like weapons, the ring guy which looked like a Waddle Doo or the Jet helper from Super Star, the white Kki healer, one helper looked like Wispy Woods with big wooden claws and also a blue Kirby look alikeΒ riding on some kind of wave? MyΒ favorite villain so far from this project would have to be the greenΒ sword guy,Β I guess heΒ is the leader of some kind of bad organization?Β
Anyways, I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work, I hope you can make more whenever you get a chance to do so, have a good day friend and I am aΒ Kirby fan justΒ to let you know that!

No Kidding! Kirby 3D was going to be awesome enough on it's own- Now they announce a four player all or nothing battle using the copy abilities? I'm sold!

Also allows download play for that (though it limits the number of copy abilities available).
Wonder if the arena modes might have multiplayer or not, since the main game doesn't seem to.
I do like how that'd make the puzzles less cheatable though.

Well, whether it does or doesn't, the Arena's still an awesome mode. Return to Dreamland was amazing- So let's see if Kirby's return to his home element- handheld platforms- is as awesome as they've always been.

Man, long time no see (I was meaning to reply to you on the trailer, but then got busy and put it off forever and I'm sorry).
Here's a quick rundown of the major parts of the hierarchy I've got set up. It's might not be exactly the prettiest, but it works. If you need more details, don't hesitate to ask.
OgreCore - The startup object that sets up the renderer and resources, then starts the main loop.
MainListener - A subclass of FrameListener.
GameCore - Holds the Run class called by the MainListener's OnFrameStarted method. Holds the GameLoop, Characters, and Stage objects. Uses OIS::Keyboard/Joystick/Mouse to get input and store it in InKeys objects.
GameLoop - The main loop of each game mode. It's switched out for each main mode (Town and Sidescrolling). This class assigns a Controller object to Stage/Character objects and calls their update method.
InKeys - Class for getting input and setting button states. GameCore uses 3 of these, one per player.
Positioner - Abstract class that runs an object on a stage. Holds data on velocities and position. A SidescrollPositioner also keeps track of rail information for the 2.5D rails.
Controller - Abstract class that sets the velocities of a Positioner. A PlayerController would take input from the player to choose what to do, and a HelperAIController would determine what to do based on its surroundings.
Character - Holds CharacterVisual and StatData objects.
Visual - Abstract class that holds OGRE's SceneNode and Entity objects. A CharacterVisual also has an AnimController object.
StatData - Class that holds info on a characters stats, like level and max HP, including a pointer to their SpeciesInfo object.
SpeciesDictionary - A Singleton Class that holds a std::map(or Dictionary in C#) object to load and keep track of SpeciesInfo objects.
SpeciesInfo - Holds a list of settings for a character's animation (speed, blending rate, events, etc.), as well as the default stats of their respective species, and what Equip objects should be attached to the character.
Equip - Abstract class that holds an OGRE MovableObject which can be attached to an Entity's Skeleton. Subclasses of this include ModelEquip, ParticleEquip, TrailEquip, BillboardEquip.
Gun - Abstract class that represents a projectile shooter and its Bullet instances. There's a ModelGun and a BillboardGun subclass.
