It's a horse, and for some reason I'm having trouble colouring it... Bah. I have an idea - do it in grey-scale and add the colour later.. Hmm...

Well, Adobe have a subscription service where you can pay monthly for Photoshop or any other of their packages, so when I can afford it I do it that way. Although expensive it beats paying the full amount - about £700 (I think).

So yeah, I use Photoshop CS6 mostly, but sometimes I use a couple of other packages like Corel Painter 11 and Easy PaintTool SAI (you can get Corel Painter 12 for around a £110, and PaintTool for around £40-£50).

My partner bought me a graphic tablet for my birthday which is, if you want to look it up, a Wacom Intuos 5 Medium tablet. It's the perfect size for drawin' on, but the pen nibs run down fast (i.e.: within a few hours of constant use!) - I have a few scratches on the surface of my tablet all ready (though all of which are pretty superficial). You'll have to look the price of the tablet up.

Although you can buy a Bamboo tablet quite cheaply and under £100.

I heard about the bamboo a little, isn't there another, a cintiq? Never heard about the pen being destroyed though.
This artist I looked up enjoyed using manga studio, but that's for comics.
