Alright.
You hover over your icon and click the Settings tab. Look over to the left and you'll notice that you're currently at the Public > Identity tab, you want to remove llamas, so move your cursor over the General tab below the Personal settings header. Scroll down all the way to the bottom where you see the Miscellaneous Settings box, checkmark the last box that says Disable message center notifications for badges, press the Save button and then you're done. ^^
