I think all my poetry is based on personal experience, but trust me, they are all not literal - so it's a combination of just writing and also personal experience. I think you always have to draw on personal experience to write anything good. my brother recently came down with serious depression and I feel like it's kinda my fault, for various reasons (that are all irrelevant, as we aren't responsible for anyone's emotions, only how we treat them) and that's where a lot of the poem came from.

The whole damn Marley arc, but most especially Chapters 93 and 105. Holy Shit. I do not like what Isayama does with his cast, killing off perfectly good characters before they have much chance to have their full potential realized and still having that POS Eren as the so-called protagonist, along with infinitely less interesting or unnecessary characters dominating the action right now. This manga went off the rails after the ocean.

Eren's a douchebag. And I never thought he was very compelling. And certainly enough people have died for him. Wipe out the Marley and Zeke and then kill him off, because I don't think he's gonna survive to the last panel anyway.
Chapter 105. Who did they kill off in that chapter? Only the best girl in the cast, that's who.
Chapter 93, who did they kill off? The one character everyone demanded answers on, only to find out she was eaten offscreen years after the fact. Fuck.
Believe me I would be going after Isayama directly if I could. He's the one I want to really tear in to over this.

He should've left well enough alone after making that decision. Because what we got here is insulting, unnecessary, and is far too painful. Sasha fully deserved to make it much closer to the ending, I mean a lot of the current drama surrounding her is bullshit. Niccolo is not a critical character, with their alleged relationship having ONE scene. ONE scene where they were in the same shot. Gabi is a pretty SHIT character all around, I do not care about seeing her perspective of the war at all, she's never been one to root for or even like. And Sasha and Eren do not have a meaningful bond at all. I've read and watched enough to know this author forgot what "Show, don't tell" means.
Ymir was a big goddamn disappointment and I'm convinced if you removed her from the saga completely, very little would actually change, her death rendered her virtually irrelevant. Which is a truly serious crime for any author.
Hey at least Erwin got to live his life, which is a luxury so many others before and after him didn't. SASHA again, everyone? That girl was sacred.
Because it's time to stop pretending there's anything "great" about it. Another soundtrack from that asshole Hiroyuki Sawano and some pretty animation do not salvage this disgusting story. Sorry, but Isayama is a man who needs to be confronted and punished about this, and when he is, Chapter 105 is something he's going to wish he hadn't written. I am most definitely this guy's enemy.

Do you know what I find weird about you though? I read some of your blog posts, and for someone such as yourself who claims not to care about AOT AT ALL, you sure do make a big fuss about it. It's almost like you get a high from the hatred you spread over it. And not to make you mad, friend, but Hajime isn't going to concern himself with the opinion of a sheep such as yourself. It's his story and he's going to continue it however he goddamn likes. And you can dwell on it, or move on. I understand you don’t like the Manga. You have every reason not to. I’m not saying you have to. In fact, it’s interesting for me to hear how different people think. I just really wanted to know why you didn’t, and now that I know, it’s given me another perspective to think about.
I’m sorry as well for the way things went down, so I agree that we should drop it and continue on with our lives. I do believe we both got hostile trying to defend our reasons. And that is something I normally am not. Perhaps, if you’d like, we can start over? A civil conversation between the two of us. I don’t like making enemies. It’s not my favorite past time.
