Also, that excuse kinda doesn't work. Look at it this way, analogy: My favorite animal is a dolphin but I don't like starfishes. I don't hate starfishes but they are not my cup of tea. Will I try to set fire to any starfish I see? Nope.
Same kinda can be applied to this situation, I don't support it but it doesn't mean I am homophobic. A phobia is an extreme such as "burn it with fire" or "I HATE that SOOOOO much!" but the thing is, I don't.
I don't support it because of my belief but I am not going to condemn anyone who is that way. If anything, I kinda feel condemned at times when everyone hates on what I belief.

It depends on what you count as "irrational". Sure there are extremes on both sides that will fit that category no doubt, but its really depends on the person and their experience.
I have even ran into religious people getting mad at me for my "you do you" policy on the subject at hand.
When it comes down to it though, you ultimately decide what you wanna think or believe about any situation. You can walk away from this and still call me a homophobe, when I said I'm not. You can put me into a box simplified as an irrational religious person, but really thats assuming rather than walking into a situation with an open mind. Every individual is different, sure some share similar properties but each person and conversation should be looked at differently vs already assuming something upon another. I like to give everyone a chance, some work out well, others don't.
The way I see it, if you respect ones belief then the same would be treated back to you. My belief may seem irrational to you, but it makes since to me. (Same as if I thought some of your logic seemed irrational to me, it would of course seem rational to you.) Not to mention, but my belief was taught to me since I was young, growing up with it installs an understanding of it and one gets older can see and compare it to other beliefs or even lack there of.
I am not sure if you were brought up with the belief, but just jumping into a belief with a closed mind or, using a method that opposes the belief (while observing said belief) usually staggers into learning process that is made null.
In the end, if my look on things has rustled your jimmies, then I am sorry but not sorry. I wasn't trying to instigate any attack or something of the matter, you just took it personally.
I will however state one thing, just to be clear, I may not fully support the agenda, but that doesn't mean I hate them or am I afraid of them. Thus it doesn't make me a homophobe. I mean, my best friend identifies as gay and while I may not support the decision, I still love them. Nothing is going to replace em, and they still respect my belief fully knowing how I feel on the situation.
I hope this, kinda answers your question or at least, you come to the understanding of where I stand.

I'm not exactly supporting. Due to the way gay pride parades go and the mob-ish and spiteful mentality some gays seem to have. Notice how your page and stamps are filled with people saying stuff like "wiping my gay little hands on you uwu" or "i'm gay -u-"...that is the type of thing I don't like, that mob-ish and spiteful mentality of trying to prove a point by not having any.
