# About me

I live with my family some miles south of Vienna in the greenery. I am happily married with the most understanding man and we are blessed with an adorable little daughter. We have a really big garden and most of summertime you can find me on the riding mower or picking weeds. In winter I love our tiled stove, he makes the room warm and cosy. Gardening is my passion, and reading. I love thriller situated in the Middle Ages.

My mom showed me making things by myself when I was a little girl. Knitting, sewing, embroidering, crocheting, doing handicrafts are always part of my life. And there are so many things I still want to learn such as pottery, making mosaics (tessellation), knot a carpet. Recently I read something about making paper. Isn’t it exciting?
I hope my daughter will be interested in these things too and I am able to pass on the joy, pride and satisfaction of making things by herself.
