hiya love ur cosplays ^^ i really wanna get into cosplay i was wondering if u cud give me some advice or wot to use for probs, see im starting from scratch getting a sewing machine and learning i dont no the first thing about sewing lol or sewing machines but i really wanna cosplay any advice?

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you about this. First, always remember cosplay should be fun, the whole process, start to finish. Though it will be frustrating. For a first costume choose something simple (Nel was especially easy to make the base pieces for). If you know someone who sews ask them to teach you, if not there are many fabric stores that have sewing classes that I'm sure would be a great help to you. Cosplay isn't just sewing though obviously, sculpting, painting, model making, they're all very important and useful for props. I've made several swords and masks for friends just for practice.
Also get yourself set up on Cosplay.com, the forums are great and there's a lot of helpful information, don't be afraid to ask questions on there but definately look through the posts to make sure someone hasn't already asked it.

((only I sadly had to order my cosplay since I had no cosplays mere weeks before a con)) But I hope to see you there! I saw your comment on papercutperfect's page.. about ref pics for Crisis Core Cloud.. so I thought I'd drop by, check out your stuff which looks awesome by the way.. and see if I can help you out.
If you go to Blue Laguna's Media Archive , you can find a ton of Crisis Core pictures there on their Final Fantasy section. Even pictures from the in game movies.
And your Nel costume is great. Looks so cool.
