I've lost my passion for it due to industry burn-out. I'm taking a break so I can try to fall back in love with it again.

Aww that's a shame I'm glad you're still hanging around though.
I do know the feeling though. I saw it a lot with my teachers too, they just seemed so done. It's like the industry just ripped their soul out. 



Whenever I felt my spirits dying I don't know why but this particular video always really helped me.

I was actually going to poke you about an emotional commission (I'd need to give context but it's referring to my marriage), but I totally understand. Working on projects during a burnout can be agony. 
I've had a few moments of drawing super cheerful scenes during burnouts and it's just so.... alien to do. Theres no point if you wouldn't enjoy yourself with it. 
Hope you can gain your spirits again, Maybe make something for yourself?

I love the different styles of animation in the video. There is no shortage of inspiration for animation (This has been great decade for animation), I've had Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss on repeat the last couple of weeks because the animation and humor are just so damn good.

Another part of the bummer is that there just have been little to no work in Nova Scotia for animation in the past year, things have dried up a bit, not to mention I'm a bit of a fossil who doesn't know how to use Toon Boom Harmony yet. Admittedly also, I'm been embarrassingly tardy on my "current" commission, I've just been so done with animation I've had no will to work on it. You can send me your idea through Notes if you want, but I have doubts of continuing animation commissions after x-flamerunner-x's commission. Depression and anxiety is also mixed in with the fatigue, but I'm managing it a lot better with meds, nothing serious or anything, just kind of an inconvenient rut.

I have been trying to write and draw personal fantasy stuff for myself in the last year with slow but steady progress, but it's nothing I want to release atm. It is giving me some semblance of productivity and creative desire, but I gotta tell ya, writing is hard, man.

Yeah you don't sound to be in the best situation 

Maybe some temporary therapy/support might be in order? I can feel how bad this is just from your wording.
Lots of people find the idea silly but it can really help. 
I guess I can note you my idea but I have no intention to encourage anything unless you actually would like to.
