I do drawings and paintings of Pokemon, Souls game, various cartoons and original characters-designs.Business & management graduate. Hobbyist draftman since my earliest childhood. Mainly influenced by manga, anime, comics and video games.
Self-educated regarding art.
No particular style just yet. Looking for one.
My biggest sources of inspiration are cartoons, pokemon and souls games.
As such, you will find me to do fakemon, chara-design and some weapons.
I will do many things that are cute but also some that realistic and a bit crude maybe.

I see you've been on here for 8 years. How do you get comments on your stuff? I can't seem toget any even though people look at my stuff lol. i go around and see everyone else's fakemon have tons of comments. i'm at a loss

Hm... Though I'd say I didn't do anything special, there are ways to do that.Β
Also I don't have tons of comments. Most the time, I represent half of the comments on a submission.
First thing I do, is that I thank people for faving. I take the opportunity to ask them some questions about what they liked about my art. If the person is talkative, they will respond and most likely you'll build a relationship with them.Β
If you don't go to them, they will never come to you.Β
Second is to simply ask open questions on your description or to ask people participation.Β
Plenty of people started to talk to me when I asked my "fans" to help me with naming my fakemons.Β
Making your "fanbase" participate is super important.Β
Third, When I get a comment, I always respond. I'm not big so I need to cherish the few people that comment.Β
Fourth, saying your open to commissions is a great way to get people to talk to you. Though I never ever did that.Β
Fifth, participating in fakemon events helps.
I dunno... I think the 2 first advices were really the most important.

Hm... You'll probably notice that sometimes plenty of fakemons artists are drawing similar things. Or maybe they all have this "sumthing sumthing competition/tournament".Β
This means there is some kind of events going on and you can check to participate.Β
If not, you can ask the organizor to warn you next time.Β
Better yet, you can directly stumble upon an event announcement on the main page of a fakemon artist.Β
I guess there is a more efficient way to do it...Β But I always stumbled on them by mere chance... So I don't know...

we'll get there! i wasn't exactly active beyond posting my old art now that i have a scanner, and checking for 'feedback' notifications. but now im drawing again, posting more regularly and actually taking interest in the other artists and the work of others. so we'll see how it goes
